Welcome to my blog where I share want to share my pregnancy -, birth - and postpartum experiences and stories. Maybe as my little babs gets older, I will share some more, but that is where we will start for now.

I have been with my partner for 7 years and a few years a go we decided to expand our family. Everyone around me was falling pregnant at the drop of a hat but for us it took the "average" amount of time - a year. It sounds quick, but when you want something and all of the sudden it is happening for everyone around you and not for you, it gets complicated, heartbreaking and difficult on everyone. The year felt long and had lots of disappointment, tears and was not easy on our relationship. The pressure I applied to my partner and the amount of time I spent thinking about pregnancy was wild. We survived that year with the outcome we dreamed of...

It happened, with the help of my amazing gynae we fell pregnant with a bundle in April 2024. I am writing this in April 2025, again a year. But this year even more happened, and that is what this blog will mostly be about. The journey from falling pregnant to now...
